What it does

• Clears all local paragraph style overrides across the entire story
• Removes manually applied character formatting (bold, italic, colour)
• Works across threaded text frames — the whole linked story in one run
• Does not change which styles are applied, only the overrides on top of them
• Clean output: no plus signs (+) in the styles panel after running

How to use

1. 1Click inside any text frame that is part of the story you want to clean
2. 2Run the script from your InDesign Scripts panel
3. 3All overrides across every linked frame in the story are removed
